A Piece of Ate

“The most powerful force in the universe is compound interest” --Albert Einstein

I often muse about alternate economic systems because the world is being destroyed by a totally fucked up thing called compound interest. That’s the idea that symbolic value (money) should be capable of eternal increases in value. This tends to work out pretty well for those who possess the magic symbol (the Piece of Eight, AKA the dollar) but sucks for everyone without a bank account, especially plants and animals.

‘Membership has its privileges’, they say, I guess one of those priveleges is not having your species wiped out by corporate “interest”. Maybe Capitalists never got that Albert was being ironic.

Fact is, every dollar loaned is a hungry little piranha that can only come back to its parent (the bank) with interest accrued. So another tree is felled, another fish is hooked, and bit by bit, dollar by dollar, Gaia is killed for compound interest. She’s like Nell, tied to the railroad tracks:
“You MUST pay the rent!”
“But I CAN'T pay the rent!”
We could really use a Dudley Do-Right about now, couldn't we? Where's the RCMP when you need one?

Bonus: this episode includes red heads, cross dressing and fudge!

We do need a Dudley Do Right- sheesh the wheels are coming off the rails- there was a thread at good ole GLP (i dont feel so bad going there now as Mr Knowles said he did -or at least used to anyway)
that said Spain was about to default on its debt- after some years of looking into conspiracy etc- i don't think the answers are in Freemasonry and any other variety of secret societies -of course they have their place perhaps- but i think a lot or 99 percent of the bad shit that happens comes from the Gangster Banksters.
as always be well and take care!!!!
