In Memoriam

I know that today we remember the noble slain, and I saw a bumper sticker a few days ago that declared the owner of said SUV automobile was a Veteran of America’s Foreign Wars. That’s a pretty big list, considering only the War of Independence and the Civil War were truly fought on American soil.

So I thought a memorial to the Victims of America’s Foreign Wars, or the VFW, might be good thing today. But I just got so damned depressed, counting bodies for profit.

“I’m proud to be an American where at least I know I'm free.
And I won't forget the men who died, who gave that right to me.
And I'd gladly stand up next to you and defend her still today.
‘Cause there ain't no doubt I love this land God bless the U.S.A.”

Paper Tigers

Earlier in the week, I walked by this Wall Street Journal mailbox across the street and noticed that some hornets were building a nest.

Yesterday was the great Rhody Parade in Port Townsend, where the first marching band down the street was The White River High School, for some reason I became fascinated with them, I think it was the song they played - I have no idea what it was, except that I’ve heard it many times before - must be a marching band classic. Anyway, WRHS is the Hornets.

Today I was walking around Point Hudson and this beautiful blue Hudson Hornet slowly drove by, as if on parade, just for me. That’s three hornets in a row. (and WTF with the HH?)

Hornets make paper houses, my nephews attended a high school with The Papermakers’s mascot - same thing.

“Paper” is the 3D printout of reality made by the collective subconscious, call it the tapestry of Arachne - the “web”. I was thinking the other day about the New York Times, who’s slogan is “All the news that’s fit to print”, and it makes me wonder if perhaps the real papermakers are bit done with the NYT, the Journal, and all that. They might be printing some paper of their own, right inside the Wall Street Journal. Call it creative writing.

I love how the media calls Putin a “paper tiger”.

A zebra, with teeth.

For Your Eyes Only

I have some recent “secret message” or sub rosa syncs, that I called “for your eyes only”, which eventually led me to watch the old 1981 James Bond chestnut, starring Roger Moore as 007 and Carole Bouquet as Melina Havelock - the crossbow wielding, Artemis/Diana resonating goddess of the hunt.

Roger Moore was Simon Templar in 'The Saint', so to me, his role as James Bond was simply a continuation of the Masonic secret agent meme. This is also why another Moore, graphic novelist Alan Moore, always places prominent Masonic emblems upon everything 'top secret'. Spooks and Freemasonry just go together.

The plot hinges upon the loss of the ‘Automatic Targeting Attack Communicator’ (ATAC), the system used by the Ministry of Defence to communicate with and co-ordinate the Royal Navy's fleet of Polaris submarines.

The communicator hides aboard a British fishing boat named St. Georges, complete with Templar Cross, until it is hit by a mine, and lost to the briny deep. We note that a ‘Knights Templar’ is physically handcuffed to ATAC at all times as a protective measure.

To translate, ATAC represents the Holy Grail, or Hiram’s Key (the password), possibly found by the ‘Poor Fellow-Soldiers of Christ and of the Temple of Solomon’ while camping in the stables of ‘Solomon’s Temple’ during the first crusade (to be taken as allegory).

42 is LOST
In a rather remarkable reveal, the Grail is represented as a computer terminal, with 6 large numbers at the top. It is a communications device for the VALIS computer (as St. Dick described it) or simply the subconscious ID (as Jung would say).

Roger Moore’s antagonists are Milos Columbo (the dove) and Aristotle Kristatos, I imagine this to be yet another take on the Templars vs. Catholic theme. Recall that the Templars were forcibly disbanded and driven underground by the Catholic Church on Oct. 13, 1307, with the murder of their Grand Master Jacques de Molay. 1013 has become a very Templar resonating series of numbers. ATAC can be read as 1-100-1-3 in Gematria.

Kristatos is revealed to be a secret opium smuggler, we recall that religion is called “the opiate of the masses”. He is played by Julian Glover, who would go on to appear opposite previous Bond Sean Connery in ‘Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade’, as Nazi sympathiser Walter Donovan.

Much battling over the Grail ensues, most of it within an ancient Catholic monastery, which James must penetrate. I guess the Catholics stole it back. In the end, Bond steals it back again, but in order to prevent it falling into the hands of the “Orthodox” Russians, throws it off a cliff, where it is smashed to pieces.

“That’s Detente Comrade. You don’t have it, I don’t have it.”

Truly, Hiram’s Key has been lost.
