Air Power

Wherein in time past ye walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience --Ephesians 2:2

The Felix balloon from Macy's photo is grand considering the "Felix" work you and aferrismoon were doing.

These images just won't go away for me...I even heard a story on NPR yesterday that shipping and mining in the Arctic would increase due to "global warming" (thus HUGE profits) and that Blimps (yup that's right) might be used to move product from the area.

Fine pattern integration, the idea of air power starting with big balloons that carry 1-8 people, then bigger ones , the evolution of AirwaVes, which carry millions of peoples thoughts [ or people if thoughts=people].
RBuckminster-Fuller called this ' accelerating acceleration and progressive ephemaralization' , as technology accelerates it does more with less, finally becoming invisible.
Round the world in 2 years in a ship , now its round the world in a few hours with some rocketeering doowop. He predicted that in the mid '80s people should be travelling around the world via radio-wave transport of some sort. Perhaps there are those that do.
Spinning of your Felix research and then vidding this article I'm pleasantly surprised that Felix got 'broadcasted'.
Again the silent images of a similar theme works well.
As for Felix I'm sure there's a correlation with Elixir and the word 'licks'.

I had a teenage fascination with balloons, dirigibles, Zeppelins (isn't that one of the best words ever?) and checked out every book I could find on them. I still have fantasies about cruising say - the wine country of France - via an elegant lighter-than-air 'yacht'.

Many popes have been named Felix, and many venerated, mythic martyrs. It has a strong X sound, and that may be significant - the first X-man?

Ancient Greek 'pnuma' means wind, breath, and 'holy spirit' in the gospels. Pneumatic - spirit powered?

Pneumaconiosis - the coal miner's lung disease
Nice X-Men delivery, inclines me to think of OX, another hard-X
I suppose the 'yacht' might need a COXMAN to direct any transnational pleasure cruising
Hindenburg blimps in with its apocalyptic demise

"Coxman": I would gladly volunteer for the position!

Holy Hindenburg, Batman! I think I need to do some research. Wikipedia (Bat Computer), here I come!
