Had a book that posited a war between Satan and Isis cross my path yesterday and thought of you while reading it. When you see the book, you'll know why. Satan vs Isis, of course, is the history of Western religion. Here's an interview with the author.

Speaking of transitions, Michael, a sister elf told me this morning that a pioneering lion & guru of body building, Jack LaLanne, has just died. He was 96. Read about his passing here.

Apollyon is the Destroyer, AKA Shiva. It's interesting because Napoleon not only destroyed, he built. The glory of Paris is largely due to him and the other sun kings who went before. That fits with Shiva also, because he is given the power of first creation. I wonder, was Yahweh Shiva? To quote Pablo:
