From Alpha to Omega

Everywhere I turn lately, Brazilians are doing the most amazing things. This is one of them: Do Começo ao Fim.

"To understand our love, they'd need to turn the world upside down".

Michael I can't tell you how much I appreciate you posting this!! The movie looks fascinating and thought-provoking I would never had heard of it had you not posted this most likely! Best to you and Varen as always and thanks again-if I can rent this movie it will be the first non-porn Brazilian movie I have ever seen:-)

Just had to come back and say that I think that "To understand our love they would have to turn the world upside down" is a beautiful way to put things-sorry as always for the multiple comment:-)

The land of Éire, that's where I've been, to answer your querie from another post. I finally watched this just now, Michael, and I'm not ashamed to say that it made me cry.

BTW, my learnéd friend, I am sure that Newgrange is most definitely one of the last extant out-in-the-open Stargates left for anyone intrepid enough to access it. You & Varen MUST see it some day for your(s)elves, and hopefully not on a day like when Sequoia & I went, pelted with grape-sized raindrops.

Much love & light, always,
Anadæ Effro (•:-)}

Yeah, I suspect this film is getting pretty close to the meaning of Philadelphia.

Sounds like a fascinating trip. My over-active imagination is trying to picture what went on there so many centuries ago.

Interesting movie, have you seen XXY? It´s an Argentinian movie about the love between a trans girl and a gay boy, a very deep and beautiful movie. its seems a lot is coming from Latin America lately... Mexico was some years ago not shocked with the kiss between Diego Luna and Gael García at the end of Y tu Mamá También, and that says a lot...

Do you think that gay/trans/polisexual love is pushing in some way human conciousness to a new level Michael? Sometimes I am cynic but I was surprised these past days to see gay pride activities in places like Singaput and Shangai... maybe, just maybe something is changing at our collective mind - and heart?

Hi C64, no haven't seen it, but thanks for the heads up. I agree with you about Latin America - many interesting and wonderful developments.

I believe queer sexuality is at the center of the transformation of the human race at this time.
