Running the Bulls

This spring saw the 50th anniversary of Automobili Lamborghini.

The Bulls run around St. Peter's

In Rome all, 350 Lamborghinis were parked in the Vatican’s San Pietro Square before they arrived at Bologna.

In every Mithraeum the centerpiece was a representation of Mithras killing a sacred bull; the tauroctony.

Mithras is depicted as being born from a rock. He is shown as emerging from a rock, already in his youth, with a dagger in one hand and a torch in the other. Peter means "the rock".

Initiation into the Mithraic mysteries was common in the Roman military.
