Who are you? |
This Christmas is the 100 year anniversary of the creation of the Federal Reserve Bank on Jekyll Island. Some say it was the the final collapse of the USA into central banker servitude, I guess the results speak for themselves.
The creature of Dr. Jekyll |
Today we hired a chimney sweep to clean out our Intrepid II stove flue, his name was John Justis, and he charged an even $100 (December Special), preferably cash. He said he was a carpenter by trade, and "if we ever need anything built or destroyed" to call him. I thought to myself:
"Like our economic system? Justice would destroy it".
Do you really mean it? |
Anyway, it made me sync on the Jekyll aspect of the deal, because the other side of Dr. Jekyll is Mr. Hyde:
Justice! |
In Alan Moore's The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen, Dr. Jekyll is a weak homosexual Presbyterian Minister ashamed of his own sexuality. Mr. Hyde is a great, powerful, hairy beast who accepts and even takes pride in his primal sexuality. He reminds me of Sasquatch/Big Foot - a representation of the Id.
In LOEG, btw, It is Mr. Hyde what actually saves the planet, not Dr. Jekyll.
