The Gay Alchemical Wedding

The Mall of America is staying open late tonight to marry newly legal gay couples in the great state of Minnesota.
The Chapel of Love, which is located in the mall, plans on wedding Holli Bartlet and Amy Petrich the minute the state officially allows same-sex couples to tie the knot on Aug. 1.

"I get married at the Chapel O' Love??? I gotta get out of here."
—Jennifer Parker at Hilldale in 2015

Syncing on the infamous Michelle Shocked 3/17/13 announcement that gays getting married will cause the return of Jesus, we note the above weirdness. Also note, Bradley Manning sentenced today:

Before the trial, former State Department spokesman Patrick Crowley warned that convicting Manning of aiding the enemy risked turning him into a "martyr."

The time traveling Jesus, Martyr McFly.

Is Bradley Manning Jesus - the Son of Man? Let us hope so... I grow weary of all the John the Baptists.
"The Spirit of the LORD is upon me, for he has anointed me to bring Good News to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim that captives will be released, that the blind will see, that the oppressed will be set free, and that the time of the LORD's favor has come." ~ Luke 4:18-19

Spider Love Bite

I got a spider bite on my arm today - moving some wood out of the storage unit. I don't know what kind of spider it was - we have quite a few dangerous varieties here in Washington State. I didn't even feel the bite, I only noticed it after my skin turned red.

The funny thing was that Greg at Superversity posted a cartoon of Spiderman and the Hulk at the urinal today, and this was a few days after Synchronize posted Episode 3 - which included an interview with myself and Alan Abbadessa-Green and Andras Jones (among others). More urinals.

I. P. Freely
Andras emailed us a copy of the Radio 8ball song selection: Looks Like Mona Lisa by Michelle Shocked, which was a 3.8 MB file. This was sync-nificant because ever since the Black 308 Incident, I've associated the 3 (the trident of Poseidon/Shiva) with the 8 (spider's web/Arachne's weaving). The meaning of these symbols are still revealing themselves, but right now, the spider's web is representing the underlying weave of consciousness that sits beneath, and is responsible for, our 3D reality. Sort of like the code that is responsible for the images you see on your computer screen.

The trident is the mechanism by which the subconscious alters the weave, thus altering the 3D code, thus changing the experience that we perceive as "the real world". Got that? Me neither, but it's the start of my thesis.

When I see a strong 38 or 308 sync, it means I'm getting closer to cracking the code. I've had a ton of those this month. The spider bite is either a warning or a receipt, probably both. I guess we'll know by tomorrow, I could be in the hospital if it was a brown recluse.

NOTES: Peter Parker was bitten by a radio-active spider. A Radio Free Albemuth spider? Ever since Fukushima, every spider in Washington State is radio active. High levels of Tritium...

Spidey sense: tingling

In Hoc Signo Vinces

A lot of my strongest syncs are strong because of their timing and the fact that they are so intensely weird. I got one of those this week.

It began with red cross syncs, I think I can blame VALIS for that:

Fat identified with the heavily-armored Teutonic knights with their slot-eyed masks and ox-horns projecting out on each side; he drew each knight carrying a huge shield and a naked sword; on the shield Fat wrote: ‘In hoc signo vinces,’ which he got from a pack of cigarettes. It means, ‘In this sign you shall conquer.’

It's the red cross, of course: the sign of the Templars, England, and St. George, the dragon slayer. So of course, our new Cancer (crab, Dogon) Prince, moonchild, quest... thing - is named George.

St. George slays the dragon

The odd thing is that I was reading The Young Protectors (gay superhero comix) last week, and I took a screen shot of this scene because the magician character is talking about magic and it resonated for me, I notice the red crosses on the left panel. And mention of the dragon.

But this is where it gets weird. I was visiting a collectively independent work space yesterday called "colab" and they had a big "phone booth" in there that they called "the Superman room", but they had a pic of Doctor Who pasted to it, because it looked a hell of a lot like a Tardis - but made of clear cedar.

This is sync-nificant because I'm not a huge Dr. Who fan but I do like it for syncs, and I posted my one and only Dr. Who episode analysis back in 2008: Dr. Who Saves the Titanic. It was about an Xmas episode: Voyage of the Damned, that starred Kylie Minogue as a cocktail waitress aboard a doomed inter-galactic space cruise ship called the Titanic. She's plays Astrid (Nordic goddess: "divine beauty"). And she steps on top of a red cross box to kiss the Doctor, and is thus saved.

Astrid at dawn

Today, I see that the crew of the Astrid was saved by lifeboats with a red cross:

Courtmacsherry Harbour and Kinsale lifeboats, along with other boats, helped to rescue 30 people from the sail training ship, Astrid, which had struck a rock and was sinking off the Cork coast.
Back to yesterday, Var and I visited Marrowstone Island again, which is strongly representing the island of Id to me - see A Road Trip With VALIS for more of that. There was a small sailboat for sale on the side of the road, and Varen insisted we stop to check it out. It was a Coronado 15.

Coronado 15

Francisco Vásquez de Coronado = Conquistador.

What an ass hat

I've previously noted the red cross solar sign associated with Columbus and the discovery of the New World. Like so many grail seekers, Coronado was digging for gold in all the wrong places. The pearl of great price is not found within an oyster or within the earth, she lies within. She is our subconscious, and she wants to be conquered.

Onward, brave sync knights! And remember... in this sign you shall conquer.

The Rites of Mars

I finally watched Ironman last night. It is odd because during my pilgrimage to NYC in 2008, Ironman was all over everything. I just wasn't into some military-industrial complex fantasy back then. Not that I am now, but it's allegory - all gory - anyway. I thought it was cool that Jeff Bridges signed on. Hell, if the Big Lebowski liked it...
Jeff Bridges as Obadiah Stane:
Stark's business second-in-command. Bridges read the comics as a boy and liked Favreau's modern, realistic approach. He shaved his head and grew a gray beard for the role, which was something he had wanted to do for some time. Bridges googled the Book of Obadiah, and he was surprised to learn retribution is a major theme in that particular book of the Bible, something which Stane represents. ~wikipedia

The "Jericho weapon" is some kind of total ego killing machine, that destroys even the will of the enemy to fight, faced with such overpowering might.

Safely escaping the city, the two returned to Joshua and reported that the "whole land was melting with fear." ~the spies
On the seventh day they were to march around the city seven times and the priests were to blow their ram's horns. And Joshua ordered the people to shout. The walls of the city collapsed, and the Israelites were able to charge straight into the city. The city was completely destroyed, and every man, woman, child and animal in it was killed by Joshua's army as an offering to God. Only Rahab and her family were spared, because she had hidden the two spies sent by Joshua. ~wikipedia
Stark gives a demo of his new weapon in the holy land, and is conducted through an ego-death experience at the hands of terrorists or the 10 Rings. I'm a bit disappointed that they weren't the 7 Rings but whatever, I can't expect Hollywood to be spot on with the symbolism.

Through his ordeal he is helped by Yinsen, who saved his life by creating a magnetic "solar symbol" thing. He is Tony's shamanic guide, or "Jesus" figure. He gives him a new, indestructible heart, but dies at the end of his duty, it was what he wanted, anyway.

Yinsen helps Stark create a new iron skin, or ego. Something not so easily destroyed, because it is powered, at its core, not by ego, but by Id.

This oddly parallels my own ego-death journey, which was initiated by shaman and mushroom eater Jeff Fairhall, who died shortly after my own ego-death.

Tony Stark returns to America (EgoLand) a changed man, and decides that Stark Industries will no longer make weapons, and gets the typical media response.

Well, not exactly. Stark Industries continues to manufacture weapons, but for a different cause. Like Jericho, Stark has been conquered by Id, and now flies a different flag. Much to the chagrin of Moses, er... Obadiah.

I've learned to love Gwyneth Paltrow, she plays "the Grail" so well. As Pepper Potts, she's sexy, smart and moral, and if you want to woo her, you'd better appreciate all her qualities. We note that Tony never appreciates her until after his ego-death experience.

In the end, Tony changes his suit to Mars red, and admits that he IS a super hero, despite his many documented character deficiencies. In other words, his many sins are of no consequence, and he has been born again - saved by the blood of the lamb.

Ojos de Dios

I've become fascinated with art and symbols that incorporate radial symmetry. They are all Eyes of God.
A God's eye is a yarn weaving and a spiritual object. The Ojo de Dios (Eye of God in Spanish) is woven with yarn and wood, often with several colors. The weaving of an Ojo de Dios is an ancient contemplative and spiritual practice for many indigenous peoples in the Americas, and beliefs surrounding them vary with location and history. Some people believe they were originally part of the sophisticated religion of the Ancient Pueblo Peoples. ~wikipedia

It's a nice collection, but they lack one thing... motion. That's the spinning wheel I was alluding to earlier. I suppose the swastika is an attempt at bringing rotational motion to a static symbol, but it's not quite the same thing, is it?

It's Hammer Time

Following up on my desire to learn more about my Nordic roots, I watched Marvel's 2011 'THOR' on Gay Pride weekend. Which syncs because the movie is all about the Bifröst "rainbow bridge", and well, gay = rainbows. So... does gay also = stargate?
In Norse mythology, Bifröst, is a burning rainbow bridge that reaches between Midgard (the world) and Asgard, the realm of the gods.
In the film, the bridge is very icy and slippery, quite frosty. This ties in with the idea of travel between "frozen time blocks" of the multiverse, with Santa's sled being our primary cultural example. We also get a madly spinning ball that shoots the dimensional traveler through a cannon (penis) and deposits said traveler via a tornado. Hello, Dorothy.

All this takes place in New Mexico, the land of Area 51 and SETI, the same place where Ellie Arroway makes First Contact, via a bunch of crazy spinning wheels.

A quick screen grab shows our characters beneath a spinning rainbow wind sock. It is that rotational (feminine) energy that is key. Everything, from galaxies to solar systems to atoms rotate, and it is that rotating motion that is the source of all life. I think VALIS told me that.

The Marvel hammer of Thor is imprinted with a tri-radial design, the triquetra, the symbol also imprinted upon the New King James bible. However, I suspect that Thor would have preferred a swastika. In any case, both the triquetra and the swastika represent rotating solar symbols, with various spokes dividing up the universe into quadrants, or what have you.

So anyway, back to the plot. it's yet another battle between brothers. Thor, who is the big, arrogant, Aryan captain of the football team, popular with the ladies and a real "man's man", vs. Loki, who is the thin and pale, artistic homosexual who secretly lusts after his own brother.

Loki is actually a child of the Jötunn, or Frost Giants. He has been raised amongst the Æsir as one of their own.

The Frost Giants are all male, blue skinned, and have some crazy ability to freeze their victim in time blocks. I think they might be gay time lords. Loki is a Jötunn, but like gay people, he is raised among the straights, as one of their own.

Loki represents the classic closeted gay. He hates who he is, he lusts after his own sexy brother, and in the end, he tries to destroy the entire Jötunn realm.

Loki is fucked up. He can't express his forbidden love, and like an X-Gay Christian, he'd rather destroy that part of himself than deal with it honestly. Fortunately, Thor destroyed the Bifröst bridge rather than let Loki destroy his own gay DNA. Makes me think that Thor may be straight, but not narrow.

And so we are lost. Our connection to the Gods is destroyed, all because of homophobia. Even though the Gods consider the Rainbow Bridge beyond repair, it is obvious that we are to re-build the bridge, from the other side.

And that is what Gay Pride means to me.

A Sirius Fourth of July

The primordial source of all our religions lies with the ancestors of the Dogon tribe, who got their cosmogony and cosmology directly from the three-eyed invaders who visited long ago. The three-eyed invaders are mute and deaf and telepathic, could not breathe our atmosphere, had the elongated misshapen skull of Ikhnaton, and emanated from a planet in the star system Sirius. Although they had no hands, but had, instead, pincer claws such as a crab has, they were great builders. They covertly influence our history toward a fruitful end. ~P.K. Dick
Continuing on our little "Starship and the Canoe" quest, my mom made up this fabulous Fourth of July centerpiece this year. I'll call it the Dogon Solar Sirius Celebration.
